First day in Brenham
I learned my lesson. Just because a hotel looks nice on the internet does not mean it will be nice when you arrive. I guess the picture for our hotel was taken when they first built it. I chose it because I would receive points on my rewards program, but no points are worth staying at that place. It was bad and we just couldn't stay there. I had to check us out and lose the money for the night. We're now very comfortable at the Best Western down the road. The difference is night and day.
I spoke tonight at the closing rally of Fountain of Life Church's VBS week. The kids were a little rowdy but I think it was because they had such a blast all week long. One parent and about 25 kids prayed to receive Christ during the invitation. Great way to start our weekend. I'll be preaching three more times in Brenham. Once tomorrow night and twice on Sunday morning. Can't wait to see what else is going to happen here.

Hey brother josh I as I was reading about what you wrote about your first day in Brenham I was reminded of all the things that happen during that week. You were such a blessing to all of us here. I bet the hotel you singed out of is very thankful to you for not mentioning their name. I also saw the picture of your daughter getting baptize. Wow God is so amazing. I was there at camp. I have so many good memories from camp. May the Lord continue to bless you.
